started the practice in 1988 specialising in entertainment and intellectual property.
From the beginning I decided a computerised accounting system was necessary. I researched the issue quite thoroughly at that time and the recurring recommendation from lawyer colleagues was that the software was extremely user friendly with a good backup team and a reasonable licensing cost.
Since then I have never regretted the decision - we have a staff of 8 these days and we all use LawWare Accounting *everyday and enjoy the benefits and sophistication of LawWare's software which is extraordinarily stable (not one service call in the last 14 months!). Bookkeepers and staff all comment on its ease of operation and intuitive functionality.
The one thing that has always impressed us has been the "always available" service culture at LawWare - so rare these days especially in the IT world.
I have always found whenever we needed help, the staff were ready, willing and able to assist and, if necessary, attend our office on short notice. It has been an enormous comfort to partner with an accounting system company where you obtain that degree of service."

I am happy to say that my small firm has now enjoyed a 10 financial year partnership with the LawWare 'system'.
The development of their Practice Management software has complemented my own needs and I am delighted how easy it has been to use and the information it has provided. My office is infinitely more efficient as a result of the integration of the system and its ongoing development, culminating in LawWare Accounting. Reliability? I cannot remember the system taking one 'sickie' in the 10 years!

Our IT Manager in Dubbo tries to keep us up to date with technology, and we update every 3/4 years. We upgraded our computers (Workstations and Server in May 2003) and our IT Manager convinced us to go onto SQL Server for LawWare. We were a little concerned as we were one of the first clients to use the new system and as we are from the country, it can be a little difficult if things go wrong.
Our firm is at Warren and we have a branch office at Bourke. This was the first time we have linked our two offices up with an ISDN line, and this was also the main reason our IT Manager & LawWare encouraged us to change to SQL Server.
We have had hardly any problems at all, since linking the two offices, and it has made the running of the business so much more efficient. We now can run our Bourke office as if we were in Bourke.and this has made the partners of the firm very happy. SQL Server is very stable, and we have hardly had to ring for help.
LawWare also enables us to record billable time, as we go, and to produce accurate tax invoices on very short notice. We are very pleased to have this facility.
My office has been using LawWare Payroll for 2 years and the tasks which formerly required some effort are now very quickly managed. Not only can I pay my team of (up to) 6 members in less than 15 minutes, all relevant ledgers such as superannuation, BAS, holidays and so forth are completed by the same transactions.
The LawWare team have been most helpful at all times with implementation and queries (although there have been few problems to deal with).

 Wages, holiday pay, PAYE Tax and super contributions automatically calculated and adjusted when necessary.
It is time saving and LawWare provide regular updates.

Efficient responses to requests for assistance, which is always readily available from their ever-helpful staff.
